Join us as we honor the extraordinary legacy of Congressman John Lewis—his courage, his conviction, and his call to make good trouble, necessary trouble.
What:
'Meet and Mingle' with like-minded individuals to celebrate the life and legacy of the late Congressman John Lewis.
Date: July 17, 2025
Meet & Mingle: 5-6:30 p.m.

Location: The Jim & Shirley Justice Center, 812 Noble Street, Anniston, AL 36201
Cost: Free and open to all! You are welcome to bring a ‘snack’ to share with others!

This event is hosted annually by the Calhoun County Democratic Executive Committee and is open to the public. HQ is currently open from 10 am til 4 pm on Wednesdays. Monthly meetings are on the 3rd Thursday of the month unless otherwise indicated and include a potluck pitch in dinner and guest speaker. Post card writing events, phone banking, rallies, sign waving, candidate training, voter registration, community outreach events, etc are scheduled as well.
