BEER CALL with Lee McInnis, candidate for District 3 Congress

Mark your calendars: October 27, 6:00 PM, Struts in Jacksonville. Lee McInnis is holding another Veterans Beer Call! No agendas! No speeches (okay, maybe no long speeches)! Just a chance to have a drink, tell some sea stories, and talk about what's on your mind.
We've had 23 years (since January 2003) of Mike Rogers' 'leadership.' Why does our beautiful state languish at the bottom of almost measure? Why hasn't he held a public town hall since 2017? Do you want to 'drag anchor' for two more years?
Lee McInnis for Alabama continues to crisscross the district in an effort to speak with as many of the 720,000 people in the district as possible. When's the last time Rogers stood in front of a group of constituents and took questions?
I'll tell you. U.S. Representative Mike Rogers of Alabama's 3rd congressional district last held an open public town hall meeting on August 10, 2017.

He held two sessions that day—one in the morning at Southern Union State Community College in Opelika and another in the afternoon at the Oxford Civic Center in Oxford. The discussions primarily focused on federal legislation and the effort to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act. Here's a photo taken at the Oxford location when a well-versed Democratic leader from Talladega asked Rogers a question, lol! THAT WAS HIS LAST 'OPEN TO THE PUBLIC' TOWN HALL and since then she has been referred to as 'The Hat.' As I recall, you had to have a ticket to get in.
Since 2017, Rogers has consistently declined or skipped open-door, public town halls, leading local constituent and advocacy groups to host "empty chair" or citizen-led town halls in areas like Anniston and Opelika.
