OUR FIRST billboard went 'live' yesterday!! We hope to change out the 'message' monthly or bi-weekly - August through October - leading up to the election in November. The billboard is across from Wal-Mart on Hwy 21 as you go north into Jacksonville. We believe women from all walks of life - no matter party affiliation - will come together over these issues.
Take a look at the short video below, the CalCoDem ad starts at 48 seconds. The ads to pay special attention to are one of Pam Howard, candidate for House District 40 AND the CalCoDem ad for 'Women's Rights.'
The Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v Wade, makes clear that those other rights founded on the same principle of privacy, including gay sex, same-sex marriage, interracial marriage, and the freedom to use contraception, are now also called into question. What the SCOTUS did was set women's rights back 50 years to 1973. And that's just the beginning......
