Where to begin? Hubbard's Off Main in Oxford did a great job of seeing to all our needs! We worked hard to get out the notice of the event and get people signed up and confirmed. Seating was limited to 100 and it didn't take long to reach that number and have a 'wait list.' We notified our 'contact' list first - and that's all it took.
Attorney Cleo Davis introduced his long time friend Doug Jones and presented him with historic and memorable political pins. Senator Jones then talked about 'where we are and how we got here' before taking questions from the audience. The video of the event, taken by Nathan Young, is just over an hour long, and can be watched at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUM1CO4FTkU

Former Senator Jones said he'd come back in the fall and he challenged us each to bring at least 2 people to the event. We can do that. The venue will have to be larger - maybe the Anniston Meeting Center. While not as 'cozy' and historic as some others - it will open up the seating to closer to 500. Will YOU commit to inviting a friend?
