Former Congressman John Lewis left us instructions for hope and healing

The brief essay that Representative John Lewis sent to the New York Times two days before his death — was published on the occasion of his funeral — and expressed the hope for national healing and reconciliation that guided his life’s work.

The film explores the Georgia representative's, 60-plus years of social activism and legislative action on civil rights, voting rights, gun control, health care reform, and immigration.
