'Black History Month' is a time to celebrate the fullness of African American history and culture, but that cannot be contained in one month alone.

The national 2023 Black History Month theme, “Black Resistance,” explores how African Americans have addressed historic and ongoing disadvantage and oppression, as evidenced by recent events. And highlights some of the countless 'heroes' and great 'inventors' of history through the years.

2023 Black History presenter. Danielle Presley, daughter of Rev Vernon and Bettye Presley.
