Remind legislators that the voters are watching closely and will be voting in November. 


The US House of Representatives is set to vote this Thursday on whether to allow the president to declare war through the War Powers Act. This decision could reshape the balance of power between Congress and the presidency when it comes to military action. The War Powers Act requires the president to seek Congressional approval for military operations, aiming to prevent unilateral declarations of war.
