Example of gerrymandering: AL House Dist. 36 is made up of 46,065 people, spread throughout three counties: Calhoun, Talladega and St. Clair (see map below)
This is a complex issue and decisions made will be with us for the next ten years. We have the right to provide input into these decisions but we’ll need to be prepared.
