The community is invited to meet these committed candidates and join us for a 'pitch-in pot-luck' dinner at HQ, 812 Noble Street, Thursday, July 16 at 6 pm. For the FIRST TIME in a very LONG TIME - we have a full slate of candidates. Each of these women are well equipped for the positions they are running for. As voters, we must support their campaigns any way we can. We all know it's not cheap to run for office and we know Democratic candidates pockets are not 'deep' like the opposition party. It's up to US to help THEM get elected so THEY can work for US to make Alabama a better place for us and our children to live!
Meet Rosilyn, candidate for State Treasurer

She is widely recognized for her trailblazing career as the highest-ranking female and first person of color to serve in the C-Suite and Management Committees of two global banking firms, reporting directly to the U.S. CEO and global division heads. Meet Angela, candidate for State Board of Education

"I'm running to make a real difference for students, families, and educators across District 6.With firsthand experience in Alabama classrooms and a deep concern for student well-being, I am ready to bring a thoughtful, student-centered voice to the State Board of Education. There are many areas where improvements can be made but I am choosing to focus this campaign on three: communication, student well-being, and making the school environment welcoming for everyone."
