The link to Lee's "Latest News from the Campaign" is below. It is filled with news you can use. He begins with the rushed legislative session to redistrict and “lawsuits that are already being filed with the U.S. Supreme Court seeking injunctions to halt redistricting until after this election cycle, or even until the 2030 census data is released.” He mentions the two upcoming events he has in Calhoun County in Jacksonville next week. More about those events here:
The first event is 'Lunch with Lee' on MONDAY, May 11, 12:00 noon at the Jacksonville Community Center, 501 Alexandria Road SW, Fireside Room#4, Jacksonville, AL 36265. The community is invited! Come, bring a friend and bring your questions for Lee. It’s time for a positive change and that change is Lee McInnis! He is running to replace Mike Rogers, and there are many Alabamians - Democrats and Republicans - who believe that after 23 years in office and with Alabama still hovering at or near the bottom of every measure – it’s time for him to go home. Lee has the knowledge and experience and is ready to take on the job. Lunch will be served. This event is sponsored by the Calhoun County Democrats.
The second event is a 'Roundtable Discussion' on THURSDAY, May 14 at 12:00 pm at St Luke's Episcopal Church, 400 Chinabee Ave. SE, Jacksonville, AL 36265 in the Fellowship Hall. Parking is on the south side of the church along Church St or at Pocket Park behind the square. Join us for a round table discussion with Lee McInnis. Lee is a strong, qualified candidate running to represent Alabama District 3 in the US Congress. Bring a friend, bring your questions and let's talk. We will order some pizza, have a glass of tea (or water) and learn why Lee is the right man for the job. Feel free to bring your own lunch. This is an important office in an important election. Let's all make informed votes! Sponsored by the East Alabama Democratic Women.

'Over 23 years and it's PAST time for Rogers to go'
Let us say one more time - the incumbent - Mike Rogers assumed office as the U.S. Representative for Alabama's 3rd Congressional District on January 3, 2003. That's over 23 years folks - with very little to show for it - besides falling to and hovering near the bottom of every measure that's kept Alabamians 'down' and that keeps businesses and people from professional careers to entrepreneurs to blue collar workers who keep the country up and running - from coming here. It's PAST time for Rogers to go home to Saks and let someone with a record that proves his capabilities and who has a sincere desire to move our state forward take office. Please attend one or both events and get to know more about Lee and support him in his endeavor to represent the people of District 3. What do you have to lose?
