CalCoDems in the 'Mississippi Squirrel Revival,' AND 'Stayin Alive'

Calhoun County Democrats won the 'Audience Favorite' award at last nights annual 'Lip Sync Battle!'

This was the 5th Annual Lip Sync Battle, a fundraiser for the Arc of Calhoun and Cleburne Counties. The Arc is a non-profit, 501(c)3, United Way Agency which serves children and adults with intellectual and/or other developmental disabilities in Calhoun and Cleburne Counties, usually FREE of charge. For more information, visit their FB page at or website at

It was CalCoDems first time to participate but it will NOT be the last. We had so much fun and the competition was tough! The 'Blues Brothers' walked away with 2-3 WELL DESERVED trophies and we were beginning to think they'd make it a 'sweep' when the Calhoun County Democrats were called out as the Audience Favorite!

As we approach election season - with so many things going on - we only practiced twice. However, playing 'old people' came natural to some of us and the younger people didn't skip a beat! And ya'll -

Please enjoy the photos from last night and

watch the CalCoDem FB page for NEXT year's contest!
