1000 Miles to Memphis March is coming to Anniston Friday!

Anniston, AL is a destination stop for the 1000 Miles to Memphis March. Join us to support the walkers and the cause on Friday, 7 August, at 2 pm, CalCoDem HQ, 812 Noble Street, Anniston, AL.

The 36-day, 1000-mile march from Nashville to Memphis aims to register 100,000 voters and raise funds for voting rights. The march will spotlight grassroots organizations in the Deep South combating voter suppression.⁠

The marchers are interested in meeting local activists and organizers and are excited to be able to meet at the Jim & Shirley Justice Center, home of the Calhoun County Democrats. Join us in supporting their heroic efforts! Can we gather a REALLY large crowd to show our appreciation?
