What it really means when Trump calls a story ‘fake news’

When Trump screams fake news, it is code for a number of things: (copied from comments section - good description)

1. Reject the information, because it comes from someone or some organization that I do not like - my enemies.

2. I have no intention of addressing the specific issues raised.

3. Do not expect me to be consistent with statements that I have made in the past.

4. I am not under oath and never will allow myself to be, so I owe the media and those who do not support me absolutely nothing.
